CBC-TV comic Gerry Dee launches apple-flavoured beer in Ontario
TORONTO – Sitcom star and standup comic Gerry Dee is getting his own beer.
The “Mr. D” lead is partnering with the start-up Alcohol Company to launch “Crazy Beard Wild Apple Ale.”
The malt-based beverage made with barley hops is flavoured with apple concentrate and is billed as “a beer that tastes like a cider.”
Crazy Beard will be available in Ontario.
Dee stars on the CBC-TV sitcom “Mr. D” as a bumbling high school teacher.
