Where to find Christmas light displays in Vernon

VERNON – There’s a fun, festive, and best of all free activity just around the corner—a Christmas lights driving tour.

Pack the family into the car with some snacks, thermoses of hot chocolate and hit the road to enjoy your community’s show of lights.

If you missed Vernon Regional Transit’s popular tour earlier this month, don’t fret. They shared the highlights with us. Every year, transit workers volunteer their time to scope out the city’s neighbourhoods in search of the year’s top displays.

This year, homes on 42 Avenue, Westview Drive, Teal Place, East Vernon Road (south of Hughes Road) and in the Middleton Mountain area shone above the rest.

To help guide you around the city, we’ve marked some of the best areas to visit on this Christmas lights map, made specially for you by our InfoTel Elves.
