Vancouver police are investigating after a vehicle "went airborne" before hitting another vehicle in a fatal crash.
Officers were called just after 6 a.m. on Saturday and say a 40-year-old man died at the scene.
They say one vehicle was driving south when it flew into the air and collided with another vehicle travelling north on Boundary Road.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say speed was likely a factor.
This is the city's 13th vehicle fatality this year.
