George Elliot students rock the school

LAKE COUNTRY – The students and staff at George Elliot Senior Secondary in Lake Country showed they have all kinds of school spirit.

Using Hedley’s uplifting anthems “Anything” and “One Life” they posted a lip dub to YouTube on Friday that was filmed during the last week of school before the Christmas break.

Fire fighters from the Lake Country Fire Department showed up with a fire truck and officers from the local RCMP detachment added a police cruiser. Both had lights flashing for the filming.

Students Quinn Wynden and David William Akash produced and directed the video.

Teacher Steve Crevier posted on YouTube, “That was the most fun I’ve ever had in my 25 years of teaching.”

If you are itching to see Hedley in concert now, don’t despair. The band is playing in Kelowna on Feb. 15, 2014 and in Kamloops on Feb. 15, 2014.

Hopefully they check out the video. It’s inspiring.
