
Suspect caught with 3D printed gun in Penticton
Penticton RCMP arrested a man want on outstanding warrants Tuesday and during the arrest found he had a 3D printed gun.
Seamus Kirby, 33, was arrested Jan. 14, according to a press release from police.
“The seizure of this type of weapon is deeply concerning,” RCMP Cpl. Chad Parsons said in the release. “We remain committed to actively pursuing individuals who pose a risk to our community.”
Kirby has been charged with two firearm possession charges, and is still in custody waiting for a court appearance.
