Art Travel Around the World | Ages 8-14

Travel the world and create your own piece of art inspired by artistic traditions of different cultures. This fascinating multicontinental journey will leave you with unforgettable impressions and richer knowledge of different cultures and their art. For the purposes of more profound immersion into a culture each lesson is accompanied by a representative piece of music. This course will include creating pieces inspired by: Aboriginal Dreamtime dot art (Australia), African tribal masks (Africa), Indian mandalas (Asia), Hohloma Russian folk art (Europe), Andean textiles (South America) and the Pacific Northwest First Nations totem poles (North America).
