The yogic state of Nidra is beyond the waking state, past the dreaming state and is a form of sleep state where you are actually awake. The stillness of this practice brings incredible calmness, clarity of mind and deep nourishing rest.In this class you will enjoy a beautiful, guided Yoga Nidra journey with a certified instructor. All levels welcome including beginners.You will leave the class feeling Relaxed, Rested, and Renewed as if you have had a conventional sleep for a much longer period. You will enjoy complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation.This practice will begin with a gentle 45 minute practice to prepare the body for a deep rest guided Yoga Nidra session to reset the body, mind, and spirit.We have an abundance of props at the studio; however, if you have your own props from home feel free to bring them with you.Items that may support this experience: A yoga mat (or 2), a blanket, an eye mask or eye pillow, a journal + pen, warm socks.
