Materials Needed: Color pencils or markers, scissors, glue, card stock or construction paper.May 8th @ 1:00pm EST – Mother’s Day Craft: Gift mom a sweet, self-made present to reminder of all the reasons why you love her! Materials Needed: Color pencils or markers, scissors, glue, card stock or construction paper in different colors (or just one color), decorative paper if available.May 15th @ 1:00pm EST – Emoji Suncatcher: Children can color their own Emoji Suncatcher and enjoy a reading of Glad Monster Sad Monster: A Book About Feelings by Ed Emberley and Anne Miranda. Materials: Available for free as a grab and go craft from Langston Hughes, starting May 3.May 22nd @ 1:00pm EST – Floral 3D Wall Art: Create a lovely floral 3D painting to decorate your home with. Materials: Cardboard (2 pieces, 32x18cm), paint (black for background; any color for details), paint brush, colored paper, tape, scissors, glue, black marker. Substitutions: For paint, any two colors will suffice.May 29th @ 1:00pm EST – Mosaic Coaster: Children can create a mosaic coaster, using a wooden frame and tiny colored ceramic squares. Materials: Available for free from Langston Hughes as a grab and go craft, starting on May 17.
