We are excited to open our 2022-23 season with jazz royalty!!!
The Dan Brubeck Trio with Miles Hill (bass), Miles Black (piano), and Dan Brubeck (drums) offer an in-depth exploration of the music of jazz icon Dave Brubeck (Dan’s father).
The audience will be captivated by this trio’s talent and creativity as they play music from the Dave Brubeck songbook, as well as some original compositions.
Dan Brubeck’s accomplishments in the music industry are numerous. He was featured on nearly a dozen albums with his father, and toured widely with the Dave Brubeck Quartet, including many appearances with the world’s leading orchestras. He has toured internationally and recorded several of his own albums. Dan’s drumming style is both mesmerizing and unparalleled, and his distinctive drum solos have received standing ovations all over the world! In fact he has earned the reputation as one of the most talented and creative drummers in jazz!
