RCMP officers in Coquitlam have located patient of a local psychiatric hospital who had gone missing.

The Mounties say Adam Yvan Gorges returned to Colony Farm Forensic Institute on Saturday evening.

A Canadawide warrant was issued and Gorges's family reached out to add more information. They said that Gorges "is trying to get well" and is not a criminal.

He's described as five feet 10 inches tall, with long brown hair, hazel eyes and a moustache and beard.
