The Land of Giants

<p>This event is a partnership between the TRU Students’ Union and the Sun Peaks Freestyle Club. Proceeds support the Sun Peaks Freestyle Club and financial awards for TRU students! Door prizes following the screening including lift tickets and gift cards to local ski shops. <br />Experience the Kamloops Premiere of “The Land of Giants” produced by Matchstick Productions at the Paramount Theatre on Thursday, November 16, 2023. This event is a partnership between the TRU Students’ Union and the Sun Peaks Freestyle Club! <br />The Land of Giants is a ground-breaking ski film exploring Earth’s iconic mountains. From Norway’s Fjords to Alaska’s spines, the film dives into the breathtaking landscapes that set the stage for mind-blowing skiing moments. Featuring the world’s top skiers pushing boundaries, it’s a celebration of nature and human resilience, leaving you inspired and in awe. Join in this journey to “The Land of Giants.” <br />The movie begins at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Join early to buy beers and participate in the prize draws. Tickets are $10 for TRU students and $15 for general admission. Reserve your ticket below!
