Peach City Runners Blossom 8 Miler Road Race

<p>Time and Date: 8:30 AM Sunday May 12, 2024 <br />Location: Okanagan Lake Park, 86 Lakeshore Drive East, Penticton, BC. <br />Route details: Starts with a lap around the park and then a couple of good climbs followed by rolling hills that will lead out to where the KVR intersects Naramata Road. Following the KVR back into town and intersecting with the original course to finish back in the park. Strava Link. This course has been certified by Athletics Canada and is 8 Miles. There are three aid stations. <br />There are no Age Group Awards for the Kid’s 1.5K Run and it isn’t timed. <br />*** No Dogs allowed on the run, you will be disqualified if you take your dog. <br />If you have a baby jogger we ask that you start at the back of the group. <br />Volunteers: If you are not running the event, we would greatly appreciate your help as a volunteer. Thanks so much for your support! <br />Race Number pickup: 7:00 AM- 8:15 AM <br />Refreshments, awards, and draw prizes following race. There will also be a draw for a pair of New Balance shoes (courtesy of New Balance) and an entry to the Blackwell Dairy 15K (courtesy of the Interior Running Association). There will also be a draw for three $50 Gift Cards from Play in Kelowna. <br />Fees – 8 Miler <br /> – $37 (19 and up) <br />– $27 (18 and under) (lesser fee will display at the final payment page) <br />– 1.5K Kid’s Fun Run – $10 <br /> BC Athletics Competitive Member Athletes – $5 less <br />NO REFUNDS <br />IMPORTANT: Registration is ONLINE ONLY for the run.
