Join us on Saturday, June 8th from 11am – 3pm for a Party in the Park! This is a free family friendly event at McDonald Park hosted by the McDonald Park Neighbourhood Association. Here’s what we’ll have:
– Face painting by the Kamloops Art Party from 11am-1pm
– Bouncy castle & inflated axe throwing from Fun Zone Rentals
– Bike rodeo: bring your bike, helmet, and learn how to ride with the North Shore Crime Prevention unit volunteers
– Kochi Bao food truck
– Paint a rock to help us create a community rock snake
– Book exchange: bring kids book to exchange or pick up a free one from the TNRD Library
– Games, prizes, and more!
If the weather is nice, be sure to bring your swimsuit for the water park! McDonald Park is dog friendly on a leash or off-leash at the dog park.
We will be accepting donations for our neighbourhood association and would love if you’d consider bringing a small cash donation to help us continue to provide events like this in the future.
