Volunteer Opportunity: Invasive Plant Pull

Volunteers needed for a weed pull in Lac du Bois!
When: July 17th 8:30 – 11:30 am
Where: Red Hill area of Lac du Bois. Meet at the pullout on the east side of Lac du Bois Rd, ~5.5 km past the first cattleguard
What: Your help is needed to remove invasive weeds from our restoration site in Lac du Bois and protect the park. Please dress for the weather, bring water, a snack, and work/ garden gloves.

This event is hosted by the Friends of Lac du Bois which is a collaboration of many organizations including Kamloops Naturalist Club, BC Parks, Thompson Nicola Invasive Plant Management Committee, Kamloops Bike Riders Association, Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc, the City of Kamloops, Big Little Science Center, Kamloops 4×4 Club, and the Kamloops Fish and Game Club.
