The VJC kicks off our 25th anniversary autumn season with a true Mexican-style Fiesta.
Fernando Gonzales, leads one of the most popular flamenco rumba bands in Puerto Vallarta, Piel Canela. Fernando happily spends his summers in Vernon, busy in the local music scene. Accompanying him will be a fabulous “Mexi-Canadian” quartet, with local musicians Gary Clark on sax, Aaron Anderson on drums, Al Ramirez on guitar and special guest vocalist Flor Aguilar. Bring your dancing shoes, because you will be treated to a wild and energetic mix of jazz, funk, and rock all with a Latin flair. But don’t worry – we will have the Margaritas ready!
