John Howard Society Okanagan urgently needs more staff

The John Howard Society Okanagan is urgently seeking additional staff for support workers and cleaning staff.

Due to its response to increased COVID-19 protocols, the Kelowna-based non-profit needs more workers, according to a Facebook post.

It is offering short-term opportunities for staff who are being temporarily laid off from non-essential service positions, and long-term positions.

The John Howard Society offers a wide range of services within the fields of community justice, social services, health and safety, and public interest issues. It offers support to people of assorted circumstances including criminal justice involvement, homelessness, developmental disability, mental illness or substance misuse.

To apply, send a cover letter and resume to work@jhsok.ca.
