QMJHL Roundup: Marcus Kearsey stars in overtime as Islanders clip Voltigeurs 6-5
DRUMMONDVILLE — Marcus Kearsey scored 2:38 into overtime as the Charlottetown Islanders edged the Drummondville Voltigeurs 6-5 on Sunday in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action.
CJ Watroba and Nathan Leek had two goals apiece for Charlottetown (6-1-1) and Matthew Butler also scored.
Donald Hickey stopped 24 of 29 shots for the win in net.
Renaud Poulin, Filip Kovalcik, Jesse Allecia, Trent Gates and David Bosson replied for Drummondville (3-1-2).
Voltigeurs goaltender Dayton Kitchener made 19 of 25 shots.

MOOSEHEADS 2 WILDCATS 1 (OT)
MONCTON — Quinn Kennedy put away the winner 3:49 into the extra period as Halifax slipped past the Wildcats.
Oleg Kulebyakin had the other goal for the Mooseheads (4-2-0).
Niko Tournas scored once for Moncton (2-2-2).

VAL-D’OR, Que. — Vincent Moreau was the only scorer in the shootout as Victoriaville defeated the Foreurs.
Cohen Paquet, Alexis Bourque, Egor Shilov and Loïk Gariépy had goals in regulation time for the Tigres (3-3-0).
Maxime Coursol, Nathan Brisson, Samuel Fiala and Jordan Labelle all found the back of the net for Val-d’Or (1-4-1).
