2nd Annual JC Classic Ball Hockey Tourney

The JC Classic returns for its second year on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at DunnEnzies in the Lower Mission (4638 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna), bringing the community together for an action-packed day of ball hockey, live music, and fundraising.
The event will feature twelve 3-on-3 ball hockey teams, a silent auction, live music, BBQ dinner, prizes, and fun for all ages. The plan this year is to donate $10,000 to the Payton and Dillon Budd Memorial Fund 2, which is being matched by the Thomas Alan Budd Foundation on a three to one basis, resulting in $40,000 going back into the community in support of youth and young adult mental health initiatives in the Okanagan.
The day’s action will finish strong between 5–6 p.m. with the championship game, plus the trophy and cheque presentation. Attendees can also look forward to the excitement of possible celebrity NHL appearances throughout the day.
“The JC Classic is more than a hockey tournament — it’s a community celebration with real impact,” says Gregg Smart, Founder of the Jamie Carroll Foundation. “Every dollar raised helps ensure equal access to sports for young people while strengthening mental health resources across our region.”
