UPDATE: Power restored in West Kelowna

UPDATE: A damaged power line in the 3300 block of Old Okanagan Highway has been repaired and power restored.
WEST KELOWNA – A power line is down in the 3300 block of Old Okanagan Highway, leaving about 2400 B.C. Hydro customers without power.
According to the B.C. Hydro website, the power went out at 2:49 p.m and is expected to be restored at about 5 p.m. The area affected is from Reece Road to the north, to Whitworth Road to the south; from just east of Glen Canyon Road to the west, to Gelatly to the east. B.C. Hydro is currently on scene to fix the problem.
Traffic control measures are currently in place.
