Description
The Penticton South Okanagan Similkameen RCMP, in partnership with the BC SPCA, invites the community to take part in the annual “Cram the Kennel” event on Sunday, November 16, 2025, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm at the Cherry Lane Mall, main entrance.
Residents are encouraged to drop off pet food, toys, blankets, and other animal care items to help fill the kennels with donations for animals in need. All contributions will directly support the BC SPCA’s efforts to provide care and comfort to local pets.
“This event is a great way for the community to come together to support the animals that give us so much love and companionship,” says Sgt. Laurie Rock, of the Oliver RCMP. “Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference”.
Families are invited to stop by, meet local officers, including PDS K9 Dug and his handler, to learn more about how the RCMP works alongside community partners like the SPCA to support both people and animals.
