The City worked with the KLO Central Neighbourhood Association to identify stakeholder groups to ensure a broad range of volunteer participants in the charrette process. Invitations have been sent to the following groups:

– Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission (1 seat)
– Central Okanagan Naturalists Club (1 seat confirmed)
– Coalition of Kelowna Community Associations (2 seats)
– KLO Central Neighbourhood Association (3 seats)
– Kelowna South Central Association of Neighbourhoods (1 seat)
– Kelowna Paddle Centre (3 seats)
– Kelowna Chamber of Commerce (1 seat)
– Major landowners (2 seats)
– Okanagan College (1 seat)
– Okanagan College Student Union (1 seat)
– Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (1 seat)
– Okanagan Mission Residents Association (1 seat)
– Pandosy Village Business Association (2 seats)
– Tourism Kelowna (1 seat)
– University of British Columbia Student Union (1 seat)
– Urban Development Institute (3 seats)

Total of 25 seats

A lottery draw will be used to select an additional four seats for neighbourhood residents and four for residents at large (Kelowna residents outside the Pandosy neighbourhood).

This will result in a total of up to 33 charrette participants. More than half of the charrette participants will be residents or representatives of resident associations.
