iN PHOTOS: Patterns in the ice during a mild Southern Interior winter

For a large part of the B.C. Interior it doesn’t feel like winter, but there are pockets decorated with bizarre but familiar patterns in the ice.

Landscape photographer Loekie Van Der Wal shared some shots of ice formations around Merritt and Ashcroft with iNFOnews.ca.

These photos will give you a taste of winter without having to put on a heavy coat.
