Tiffany Goruk and Jeremy Snow were murdered in West Kelowna in 2013, and police are still investigating.
Goruk, 30, and Snow, 33, were shot and killed outside the Terravita condominium complex on Feb. 18, 2013. The couple was inside a Cadillac Escalade that crashed into an apartment building.
Investigators are hoping someone has information that would help the investigation, according to a press release from the RCMP issued today, Feb. 18.
“These homicides were senseless acts of violence, and this investigation remains a priority for the (South East District Major Crimes Unit),” Insp. Brent Novakoski said in the release.
“It is essential for the administration of Justice, and for the public at large, that those responsible be held accountable. Bringing closure to the families of Ms. Goruk and Mr. Snow is of utmost importance.”
At the time of the murder, Snow had recently been released from a U.S. prison after serving time for taking cannabis across the border in a helicopter.
The Kelowna Daily Courier reported that Goruk was likely caught in the crossfire since her friend said she didn’t have enemies. Goruk had two kids and Snow had a daughter.
Goruk’s friend told the Courier that Snow was trying to clean his life up after he got out of prison.
Anyone with information about the couple’s deaths, or their activities in February 2013, has been asked to contact police at 1-877-987-8477.
