OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators have signed centre Stephen Halliday on a two-year contract extension, the NHL club announced Tuesday.

The deal carries an average annual value of US$1.075 million through the 2027-28 season.

Halliday made his NHL debut on Nov. 20, 2025, picking up an assist in a 3-2 win over Anaheim.

The 23-year-old totalled 11 points (four goals and seven assists) in 30 games.

The six-foot-four, 214-pound Halliday also played 29 games for the team’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Belleville Senators, where he had 29 points (two goals, 27 assists).

Halliday, from Ajax, Ont., was a fourth-round pick (104th overall) of the Senators in the 2022 NHL draft.
