Nelsen welcomes tough choices as Toronto FC readies for possible player influx
TORONTO – With players regaining health and the prospect of some new signings, Toronto FC manager Ryan Nelsen has some tough decisions ahead.
The former New Zealand international says he welcomes such choices as he looks to improve his MLS club.
Canadian midifielder Matt Stinson was waived in what Nelsen says was a numbers issue.
An Argentine import is due to arrive soon, once all the paperwork is completed.
Toronto FC says the financial health of the player’s Argentine club has not helped matters.
Toronto is 1-2-0. It has a bye this week before hosting Los Angeles next week.
