Aziz Ansari, Sarah Silverman and ‘Family Guy’ cast bound for Toronto’s JFL42
TORONTO – Aziz Ansari, Sarah Silverman and the entire cast of the “Family Guy” animated series will headline Toronto’s JFL42 comedy festival in September.
Event organizers say Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green and Mila Kunis will be part of “Family Guy Live” at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on Sept. 28.
They’ll do a live script read accompanied by a 40-piece orchestra.
Meanwhile, Ansari will perform at the venue alongside yet-to-be-announced special guests on Sept. 27, and Silverman will be there on Sept. 20.
The second annual JFL42 is presented in association with Air Canada and created by Just for Laughs.
It will run Sept. 19-28 with 42 acts at various venues.
Other comedians in the lineup include Janeane Garofalo, Bill Burr and Marc Maron.
Passes to JFL42 go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
