Ballard signs deal to supply 220 backup power systems for use in China

VANCOUVER – Ballard Power Systems (TSX:BLD) said Friday it has signed a deal with Azure Hydrogen to supply 220 backup power fuel cell systems for use by Chinese telecommunications companies. The agreement includes 120 direct hydrogen systems as well as 100 methanol fuelled systems. Financial terms were not immediately available.
