Charges stack up as more women step forward to accuse B.C. trucker

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. – Charges are stacking up against a Williams Lake, B.C., man who police arrested last April over allegations he confined a woman in a transport truck.

Seven new charges have been laid against 24-year-old Robert Fagg since the original charges of assault, uttering threats and forcible confinement involving a 26-year-old woman.

Police say other alleged victims came forward in the Williams Lake area after the original charges were laid.

Police say the new allegations predate the April incident and spanned from 2007 to 2012, involving the same commercial truck driver.

The allegations involve three different women who police say had been in a relationship with Fagg.

The charges include break and enter, forcible confinement, sexual assault and assault.
