West Kelowna Council is hosting an Open House next week to provide information and gather input from the public on this year’s budget and strategic plan and on the initiative to reclassify the community from a “District” to a “City.”
The public is invited to join Mayor Doug Findlater and members of West Kelowna Council at Talk Budget – And More – With West Kelowna Council, Wednesday, March 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Westbank Library, Westridge Mall, 31 – 2484 Main Street in West Kelowna.
Review the 2015-2024 Financial Plan and find out how your tax dollars will be spent and what big ticket capital items are in the works.
Information on Council’s draft 2015-18 Strategic Plan will be available as well as the initiative to poll the public on changing the classification of West Kelowna from a District to a City.
Refreshments will be provided.
