SNC-Lavalin named preferred contractor for $1B hydro project in BC

VANCOUVER – BC Hydro says SNC-Lavalin has been selected as the preferred contractor to design and build the $1-billion John Hart Generating Station replacement project. The provincial Crown corporation says SNC was advised of the selection last week and the two sides will now begin final discussions aimed at signing a contract by early 2014.
