KELOWNA – When Olympic silver medalist Kelsey Serwa returns home from Sochi tomorrow, she will have a crowd of grateful fans and a presentation on behalf of the City of Kelowna waiting for her.
Serwa arrives at Kelowna International Airport Thursday at 2:20 p.m.
Students from Serwa’s own middle school, KLO, will also be attending, dressed in red and white to honour the two-time Olympian and X-Games gold medal winner.
Serwa captured the silver medal in the Ladies Ski Cross on Feb. 21, only a fraction of a second behind Canadian teammate Marielle Thompson, who took home the gold.
