Where ‘The Amazing Race Canada’ stopped on its way through Kelowna

For the past 13 years the The Amazing Race Canada has stressed people out with puzzles, travel and challenges. This year they came through a series of locations around Kelowna.

The show’s contestants stopped at Paynter’s Fruit Market in West Kelowna, Big White Ski Resort and Knox Mountain in Kelowna in an episode airing on July 14. There were even photos with some of the residents of Kangaroo Creek Farm.

“Who’s watching The Amazing Race Canada? It was hard to keep the secret but we were lucky enough for the racers to stop by the farm this spring,” Paynter’s Market said in a social media post.

This will be the third time the region has appeared on the show. Kelowna was featured in the very first episode in 2013 with contestants going to Stuart Park and Myra Canyon. Then it was back again in 2022 when contestants appeared in Vernon, Lake Country and Kelowna.

The Amazing Race is the second reality show to film in Kelowna this year since Canada Shore stars are back in town and made an appearance at Touchdown Kelowna. The Okanagan was also the choice for the Netflix reality show Million Dollar Secret.

The Amazing Race Canada is available on CTV or Crave.
