VERNON – What, exactly, caused Maverick the Flying Car to fall out of the sky last May?
A new video is shedding light on the bizarre incident. With on-board footage that survived the crash, analysts have determined several contributing factors to the crash, which sent Maverick nose diving into a Vernon park.
Maverick, a vehicle part dune buggy, part parachute, was created to bring transport to remote areas of the world where roads are not always an option. Its manufacturers describe it as “intuitive and safe to fly, drive and maintain.”
