Brocklehurst Park will be filled with food vendors, live entertainment and family-friendly activities when the Overlanders Day Community Festival returns to Kamloops on Sunday, July 19.

Presented by the North Shore Business Improvement Association, the free festival runs from 10 am to 3 pm at Brocklehurst Park, 2470 Fleetwood Ave. The annual event has become one of Kamloops’ largest community festivals, welcoming families, local organizations, businesses and visitors for a full day of activities and entertainment.

Visitors can explore more than 90 business and community vendor booths, browse local products and services, and enjoy a variety of food from 10 food vendors throughout the day. Live performances on the main stage, hosted by emcee Nick Carter, provide entertainment from morning to afternoon, creating a lively atmosphere for all ages.

Families will find plenty to do in the Kidz Zone, which features inflatable games, face painting, crafts and activities for children. Other festival favourites include the Paws & Claws Expo, pie-eating contests for kids and adults, a corgi dog race, a dunk tank, mascots, games, a fire truck display and prize giveaways throughout the day.

More than just a summer festival, Overlanders Day celebrates the people, businesses and organizations that make Kamloops’ North Shore community unique. The event allows local businesses and community groups to connect with residents while creating a welcoming space where families, neighbours and visitors can spend the day together.
