Officers called to a suspected break and enter at a West Kelowna home Tuesday saw something that lead them to return with a search warrant.
The officers were called to a suspected break-in at a home in the 2100 block of Ensign Quay, according to an RCMP media release.
They saw some sort of evidence that sparked a separate drug investigation.
Officers with the drug section, crime reduction unit and traffic services returned to the home with a search warrant and seized a significant amount of illicit drugs, illicit cannabis products and unstamped tobacco.
RCMP don’t say if any arrests have been made or if investigators have any suspects in mind.
RCMP do say the investigation is in the early stages and that no further details will be released to the public at this time, but more information will be released in the future.
