iN VIDEO: Ribfest Penticton makes flavorful return

Ribfest was back in Penticton last weekend with new organizers running the Penticton event. The event was previously run by the Rotary Club and took a small pause after the passing of Barb Hoolaeff, the driving force behind Ribfest Penticton. Ontario-based Cute and Yellow Inc. took over and has been eager to get the event up and running again at Okanagan Lake Park.

Four award-winning BBQ specialists were out competing this weekend to earn the fan favourite of Penticton. Food vendors were also set up selling drinks and alternative snacks if you were full on meat and wanted to enjoy a snow cone or beavertail for dessert. There were also returning vendors selling spices, sunglasses, and handcrafted goods. Many enjoyed having their dinner while listening to live music and basking in the summer sunset by the beach.
