Raised just outside Montreal by his Trinidadian mother, Akeem has quickly become one of Canada’s most commanding and exciting live performers. His fearless crowd work, quick instincts and natural ability to take control of a room have taken him to stages throughout North America and Europe.
No two Akeem Hoyte-Charles shows are ever quite the same. He doesn’t simply perform for an audience—he brings everyone into the action, turning each show into something spontaneous, electric and completely unpredictable.
