The forests, skies and waters of the Thompson-Okanagan region are teaming with fascinating species of wildlife, and the region is also home to talented photographers who patiently capture their movements.

Sometimes wild animals are caught on camera at just the perfect, comical moments with funny expressions or their tongues sticking out.

This spring and summer, local shutterbugs didn’t disappoint and this photo collection includes some of the most humorous results of their work.
