PENTICTON — This year’s first Food Truck Culture Rally is making an early appearance this weekend and the event is one of eight scheduled for spring/summer 2014.
On the menu is Thai from Jamplees Thai Kitchen, tacos from Surf Side California, and lots of meat sandwiches from Gung Ho Gyozas. The food truck season does not usually start until April, but these trucks are rolling out for an early start.
Over the winter, trucks have been catering festivals and other events in the Okangan area, but they will be cruising the streets on a regular basis once the sun continues to shine.
The rally is hosted by Skaha Ford and trucks will be parked in the lot between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 15.
