The body of a missing Lake Country man has been found after he was reported missing last week.
Jan Paleta was not seen by friends or family since Sept. 15, according to RCMP. He was reported missing two days later as he had not turned up in the places he normally frequents.
Paleta's body has since been found but the RCMP said in a media release the death is not considered to be suspicious at this time.
The B.C. Coroners Service is involved in the investigation and the RCMP is not providing additional information.
