Kamloops RCMP ask for help to find theft suspect

Police in Kamloops are hoping someone recognizes the suspect in a theft from vehicle investigation.

Investigators are following up on a report of a theft from a truck in the 200 block of Lorne Street in Kamloops on Oct. 18, according to an RCMP media release.

A man smashed a window in the truck and stole an iPad and other items.

“Video surveillance captured a suspect image, which we are releasing to the public in hopes that someone will recognize and help us identify him,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Crystal Evelyn said in the release.

RCMP say the male suspect was wearing a light baggy hoodie, striped toque, dark pants and light coloured shoes with a logo on the inside.

Those with information related to this investigation are asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference 2021-36655.
