TRENDING NOW: Thin ice does in underwear-clad skater

With temperatures falling as winter approaches, here's a video from earlier this year that is a cautionary (and hilarious) tale about skating on thin ice in your shorts.

This skater, clad only in what looks like could be his underwear, falls face first into frigid canal water in Amsterdam. The video first surfaced in February.

The skater goes under for a few seconds before emerging to to cheers and whistles from the crowd.
