A heritage home on Okanagan Lake in Penticton went up in flames today.

The Warren House at 434 Lakeshore Drive was gutted by fire today, March 7.

There are reports of a large explosion just before the fire broke out.

No word yet if any one was hurt or what caused the blaze.

Fire crews were still on the scene late in the afternoon.
