The suspect in the Canada Day shooting at a beach in Osoyoos has turned himself in to police.
Yesterday, July 6, the RCMP named Steven Marlo Gallagher as a suspect in the shooting on July 1. He was described as armed and dangerous.
Gallagher was allegedly involved in a conflict at a beach where he produced a gun, fired several rounds, and hit a 22-year-old man.
Police asked Gallagher to contact them when he was identified as a suspect yesterday.
