There’s a lottery ticket worth $30.8 million somewhere in B.C. that has yet to be claimed.
The prize was won, but not redeemed, through the Lotto Max draw last night, July 8, according to a release from the B.C. Lottery Corporation. The winning ticket matched all seven numbers – 7, 12, 14, 18, 46, 47 and 49.
The lucky numbers were chosen online through PlayNow.com. The winner's name will be announced if the prize is declared.
Whoever is in possession of the ticket has 52 weeks from the day of the draw to claim the prize.
The B.C. Lottery Corporation reminds gamblers that a winning $15-million ticket has yet to be claimed from the August 13, 2021 Lotto Max draw and will expire soon.
The odds of winning the jackpot on a $5 play are 1 in 33,294,800, according to the release.
