Mounties looking for robber

KAMLOOPS – Mounties are on the lookout for a lone male suspect after a liquor store robbery.

Sgt. Karen Delorey of Kamloops RCMP released very little information about the robbery at Starters Liquor Store on Westsyde Road.

"It was determined that a male entered the store and presented a pointed tool at the clerk, demanding money," Delorey said. "The male made off with a small amount of cash and the clerk was not harmed during the incident."

The time of the robbery or even the date was not included in the public release. The man was wearing a black mask but is described as approximately 5’4” and had a stocky build.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Kamloops RCMP or call Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
