Okanagan traffic has returned to normal this morning following a vehicle incident and rocks falling on Highway 97.
On Nov. 5, DriveB.C. reported that rocks fell on the highway between Summerland and West Kelowna. The incident has since been cleared.
Also on Highway 97, a vehicle incident at White Lake Road in Kaleden impacted both directions of traffic. DriveB.C. reported the incident has also been cleared.
Across the Interior, periods of snow and rain are expected this weekend but highway alerts and snowfall warnings are no longer in effect. In the last few days, highway closures happened frequently with multiple vehicle accidents due to the snow.
