BOZEMAN, Mont. – Natalee Holloway’s mother says justice hasn’t been served 11 years after her daughter’s death while on a high school graduation trip to Aruba.

Holloway was last seen alive leaving a bar with Joran van der Sloot, who was never charged in her death. Holloway’s body hasn’t been found.

Van der Sloot is serving a 28-year sentence in Peru after being convicted of killing a 21-year-old student in 2010, five years to the day of Holloway’s death.

Beth Holloway said in an interview at her Montana home broadcast on NBC’s “Today” show Monday that she wants van der Sloot to spend time in a U.S. prison.

He’s set to be extradited to the U.S. after completing his sentence in 2038 to face charges he tried to extort money from Holloway’s family.
