KAMLOOPS – The Thompson-Nicola Regional District’s Library System is hosting a free storytelling workshop called Strategies for Storytelling at the TNRD Boardroom in Kamloops, on Tuesday, April 28, at 6 p.m.
The workshop will be hosted by B.C. writer Margo Bates, seen at right, the author of P.S. Don’t Tell Your Mother. She will teach participants how to develop story ideas, characters and storyline. She will also share an easy way for writers to get their thoughts down in an easy-to-use format by using mind-mapping.
The event is free but the workshop will be limited to 20 participants, so sign-up is recommended. Please contact the library at 250-372-5145 to reserve a spot.
