Spring break activities at the Vernon Library

VERNON – The Vernon Branch of the Okanagan Regional Library is gearing up for a busy Spring Break with special activities and events for children from kindergarten to Grade 7.
 

For children in lower elementary grades, aged 5-8 years old, the following programs are planned:
–          Thursday March 24: “Build The Stories” featuring Lego and Goldie Blox
–          Tuesday March 29: “Are You A Horse?” puppet show and activity
–          Thursday March 31: “Whose Shoe?” puppet show and activity

For children in upper elementary levels, aged 9-12, activities include:
–          Monday March 21: Origami Lesson
–          Tuesday March 22: Shadow Puppet Workshop
–          Wednesday March 23: Astronomy Presentation

All of these programs will be held at 2 p.m. at the Vernon library branch at 2800 – 30th Avenue.

Registration is required, so secure your children’s spots by visiting the library’s Information Desk, calling 250-542-7610, or registering online at www.orl.bc.ca/branches/vernon.

Programs are free thanks to generous sponsorship from the Vernon Friends of the Library.
